The Philadelphians announced today that Parx Casino®, the number one casino in Pennsylvania, will join the team as its principal sponsor and official jersey partner for the 2022 Toyota Minor League Cricket (MiLC) championship presented by Sunoco, America’s first and only nationwide T20 competition. Parx Casino® will be prominently featured on The Philadelphians’ match jersey and other training and playing apparel.
Parx Casino® joins The Philadelphians’ family ahead of the team’s second season of play in MiLC, starting on Saturday, June 25. The Philadelphians, who play home games at Exton Park in Chester County, were founded in 2020 with the mission to elevate cricket across Pennsylvania, attracting international stars and developing homegrown talent through grassroots collaboration with local academies and leagues.

The Philadelphians’ 2022 roster includes marquee signings Liam Plunkett, a World Cup winner with England in 2019, and Milind Kumar, a prolific batter in India’s Ranji Trophy and past selection for both Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The second season of MiLC begins Saturday, June 25 and will run for eight weeks of regular season action nationwide this summer. The Toyota Minor League Cricket championship will conclude with Conference semi-finals held Aug. 20-21 and Finals Weekend over Aug. 27-28.
