DERICK NARINE SIGNED UP BY THE PHILADELPHIANS AS A PRIORITY DOMESTIC PLAYER FOR MINOR LEAGUE CRICKET 2022

The Philadelphians Cricket franchise is excited to announce New York based former Guyana U-19 star Derick Narine as our “Priority Domestic” player signing for the Minor League Cricket 2022 season.

Narine is an American professional cricketer who is a household name across multiple regional leagues in the country having amassed piles of runs at the top order including 45+ centuries. A southpaw, Narine is known for his flamboyant striking with the bat and handy medium pace rounding him off as a very capable all-rounder.

Being a part of The Philadelphians setup in the Minor League Cricket 2021 season, Narine gave the team strong starts with the bat and in the process smashing 351 runs at a strike rate of 138 including 3 scores of 50 and above.

His taste for Bollywood music is well known within the Philly camp and the team would hope that he makes the bowlers dance to his tunes this Minor League Cricket season.

Minor League Cricket Season 2 kicks off on June 25, 2022 with the domestic player drafts set to be held on May 12, 2022.
